Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha told reporters that he learned the news about Dashnor Sula's removal from Elbasan's lists from them.
However, Bersha said it appears he was fully informed about this development, as he later said that Sula would be on the open lists, although journalists reminded him that he was the most voted for in the primary process.
Berisha said he has no idea about any messages that Sula claimed to have sent him, saying that he has "thousands of messages" on his phone.
Regarding the departure of his ally, Vasil Sterjovski, Berisha called him a traitor.
Berisha: There is no such thing, he is a fully respected man. He cannot take a position. He has not been excluded from the open list and cannot be excluded, I understand that from you. I have thousands of messages here, he may have sent them. Don't go to extremes, the primaries are fundamental.
Berisha: Myzyr, what was in the testimonies of the escapees today?
Journalist: You removed the most voted names from the primaries.
Berisha: Did you escape from a phone call from Lali?
Journalist: Lali Eri has no chance with me...
Berisha: The truth is that I am thinking about the government after May 12. I am preparing the next government.
Journalists: How do you comment on the departure of one of the allies, Vasil Sterjovski?
Berisha: As old as a person is, so is betrayal
