At an electoral meeting in Tirana, Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha promised to resolve the property issue.

He made this promise to an old Tirana family, saying that the Democratic Party, although it has not done enough in the past, will not back down until it solves this problem.

Excerpt from Berisha's speech:

The DP is a conservative party in the sense that it is a party of tradition. It believes that traditions have eternal values, they have eternal values. The family has eternal values, and that is why we have the family on a pedestal.

We believe that property is the basis for building the prosperity of a family and society, and in this context, I guarantee you that, despite not having achieved its goals during the years of government, the DP will not retreat until it fulfills this mission and considers resolving the issue of property settlement a mission of its own, necessary for peace, justice and the morality of a society.
