"Has anything changed in 9 years? Excuse me, 3 days ago the World Bank declared that Albania is the country in which only 20% of those who need economic assistance receive economic assistance. That's why they run away, they run away from the pangs of hunger, they run away from the tears of misery because they can't live in their country. They run away and only run away. They are leaving because, you will forgive me, we will talk without speech, we will talk because this is a vote for you, for every citizen.

This is not a vote for Edi Rama, nor for Sali Berisha, but it is a vote for yourself. What's happening? Why did he freeze salaries, what did he do with the money? This money has doubled taxes. Last year 2022, it collected 5.8 billion euros from your taxes. We had taxes halved. We have different philosophy. We believe that money in your pockets is more useful for society than in the state coffers. But this is one side. It has collected 5.8 billion ".

Berisha said that Rama and the governing chain are stealing citizens' pockets.

Yes, the prime minister stole, all the others steal as much as they can. And this has happened in Albania, this has happened with local governments, this has happened with his directorates wherever they are. Therefore, roads are not built, salaries do not increase, pensions do not increase, and people have no alternative but to flee in the hope that somewhere they will be able to find a corner where they will have less economic pain.
