Prime Minister Edi Rama is this Saturday in the district of Gjirkastra as part of the electoral campaign for the May 14 local elections. During the afternoon, he held a meeting with the citizens of Përmet and Këlcyra, where he presented the candidates of the Socialist Party for these municipalities.
During his speech, the head of the government said that the opposition candidates who, according to him, promise free water from the taps, should be thrown into the dust. Rama further added that the opposition candidates want quarrels and conflicts, and not cooperation with the government, since according to him, they are used as barricades by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha to fight the ruling majority.
At the end of his speech, the prime minister used a vocabulary not suitable for the citizens, telling you that if they want the road for free, they should vote for the opposition candidates and get "noc rock".
"We have made the small business tax zero. It is no coincidence that tens of thousands of small businesses have opened over the past year. We are doing a salary increase, the average salary increase from ALL 550 thousand to ALL 900 thousand. They interpreted my concern as a threat. If Këlcyra turns back, it will be impossible to have support from us, not that we don't want to support him, but these candidates who promise free water from the taps should be thrown into the river and told to run away from where they came from. These bring the spirit of Sude and Xhaferri. They look at municipalities as castles to take hostage. It is impossible to cooperate with them because they do not want the work. They want trouble and conflict. They want to turn the municipalities into barricades to fight with the government. Look at Shkodra, we have done a lot for Shkodra, but we only did those things that were not related to the municipality. How will you get people who don't fill up and give you the town hall here. See it and do it. We will do Ballaban Berat, but not for free. If you want it for free, take the others and take not the roads, but the rock later."said Rama.
