Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha's lawyer, Genc Gjokutaj, in a Skype connection on the show "Breaking" with Dafina Hysa on Top News, said that he will send the dismissal of the request for the removal of the "house arrest" measure to the Supreme Court.

"The measure against Berisha should have been abolished, not tightened further, the Constitution was violated. Berisha does not avoid the judicial process or the investigation, the goal is not at all for the benefit of the law, but completely political, we addressed the serious procedural violations, we will appeal to the Supreme Court" , said Gjokutaj.

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha remains under house arrest, after the Special Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the Special Court for Corruption and Organized Crime.

In the session that started at 09:00 and lasted a few minutes, judge Ilirjana Olldashi announced the decision, while Berisha himself was not present.
