In a press conference, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of distributing money for vote buying.

Berisha has publicly denounced, through a new video, a case of vote buying in the Babrru area of ​​Tirana. 

"The narco-government of the head of the criminal organization, Edi Rama, was not satisfied with distributing 76 million euros, 100 euros per pensioner, a total of 48 percent of voters for vote buying. With the donation of 200 million euros in fines and interest 2 days before the elections. It was not enough with the signing of tens of thousands of legalization permits, ownership certificates. With the use of tens of thousands of vehicles, all state-owned and with no connection to electoral campaigns.

It was not enough to employ over 10 thousand employees for votes in local and central government, but it went directly to vote buying by secretly distributing money to Albanian voters. Of course, the secret distribution of money is difficult to catch because those who commit this electoral crime do everything to hide its traces and not to come out. However, the cameras of vigilant citizens have filmed the criminal moment of distributing money for votes. And this is not, let's say, behind Dajti or in Mokër or in Tropoja or in more remote areas. No, this is in Tirana, in Babrru and order the video that will be presented to you today", said Berisha.
