The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, and the one of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, each separately joined today's protest at the Ministry of the Interior for Jonada, the 7-year-old girl who was killed in Potam in Himara after being hit by a boat that was driven by the commissioner. But they met together after the move to the Prime Minister of the whole crowd.

They did not make a joint statement, while in their separate statements they demanded that the leaders of the responsible institutions resign.

The former president demanded the resignation of the ministers and the head of the Municipality where the event took place and called on the citizens to multiply the intensity of the protest

Berisha lit a candle in memory of Jonada. Berisha said earlier that for this case the Minister of the Interior, Bledi Çuçi, should have resigned.

Thousands of citizens gathered in the square and demanded the resignation of the government with banners and also with calls.

In the protest, parents with children were seen who protested the killing of the 7-year-old girl by the boat that was driven by the exponent of the police in Himare.

After the Prime Minister, the citizens turned to the Presidency where they asked for a reaction from the Head of State, who has not reacted yet.
