Berisha charges for May 14: "Walking voters" without an address were

The head of Reestablishment, Sali Berisha, has continued with the accusations against the government today, again claiming that the result of the deep defeat of the 'Together We Win' coalition was caused by the manipulation of the May 14 local elections.

According to Berisha, people who turned out to have no address and who voted in more than one voting center were used to vote. He called these people 'walking voters' whom the SP has used several times to manipulate the election results.

"Registered voters were found in garages, in containers in the port, up to the fountain in the center of the city as an address. On April 25, 2021, 110,000 voters voted in the district of Durrës, it was found that 5,404 voters were not identified by the identification machine of voters. What testifies to the strong use of this mobile voting contingent was March 6, 2022. On March 6, 67,000 voted in the municipality of Durrës, so the number of voters was halved. But what happened in Durrës is that the number of of unidentified voters doubled, from 5 thousand to 9,600. In this city, 3,900 immigrants who turned out to have voted, none of them had come to Albania, but their identity cards had been used," said the head of Re-establishment.

Berisha went further with the figures, saying that the number of voters, as he called them 'potentially itinerant', that is, unidentified throughout the country, was 547,000 voters.

The former prime minister added that all claims have been submitted to the prosecutor's office and that in the meantime voluminous work is ongoing to identify all those who, according to him, are persons without an address who have voted in more than one voting center.
