President Bajram Begaj has decreed November 9th as the date for early elections in Tirana and 5 other municipalities in the country.

However, as it is learned, the head of state's decision was made today and there is no decree yet.

We are talking about early elections in the municipalities of Tirana, Vlora, Berat, Mat, Tepelena and Cerrik.

We recall that the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has opposed his dismissal proposed by the Municipal Council and signed by Prime Minister Edi Rama, taking the matter to the Constitutional Court, where a suspension has been imposed until a decision is made.
