Basha continues tour as DP leader, calls for "cleaning up politics"

Lulzim Basha is following his tour of city-to-city meetings, after being elected chairman of the Democratic Party "stamp".

This Wednesday, he stopped in the city of Gjirokastrës, from where he called for the "cleansing of politics" by those who have abused the trust of citizens.

"The money that today goes into the pockets of the rulers and the accounts of the oligarchs would enable any government to create conditions for students not to leave and farmers subsidies for agriculture.

Confronting corruption without compromise, cleaning up politics, empowering citizens to elect their representatives in parliament by vote, diaspora votes are vital on the path we have set out on liberating politics and economy" basha said among other things.
