Lulzim Basha, on the tour of meetings to regain the leadership of the DP on July 29, has stopped in Mat. 

Basha has shared some photos on his social network Facebook, where he is seen meeting and talking to his supporters in Mat, while attached to the post he emphasizes the need for vetting in politics. 

According to Basha, it is time to open the 'papers' and show the assets of every politician.

Basha's status:

Today it is clear, those who want a monopoly on politics, the media, the economy, those who want Albania to remain in their hands, are together against vetting, are against accountability for their assets and links to crime, who use in each pair of elections.
Today is the time to open the papers and show the wealth of each politician. Let's see he justify or not?

Follow the money, but also the links to crime is the essence of the vetting of politicians. This is the only way to show the Albanians who is clean and who is not!
The Incinerator file - The corrupt affair of the century, which cost the Albanians 430 million euros, showed how the government acted as a structured criminal group. But this is only one of many cases awaiting the decision of justice.

It is necessary to approve a radical legal package against government crime and corruption, removing all obstacles and giving unconditional support to SPAK, not only for the punishment of corruption, but also for seizing the assets that come from these affairs.

It should start immediately with:

Investigating fraud with contracts and public funds;

Investigation without any exception of concessionary contracts;

Investigating the assets of anyone involved in drafting, approving and benefiting from concession contracts, from the simple lawyer to the prime minister;

The money that was stolen from Albanians and ended up in bank accounts, or invested anywhere in the world, must be returned to Albanians.

The Democratic Party is the first opposition party, the party of Albanian hope, and without any doubt it should return to the place that history and the Albanians have given it, certainly in a strong alliance with the USA, Great Britain and the EU.

We will make a clear and definitive separation of the future from the past.

Today is the time to together with Albanians, left and right, give power to the vote and the voice of the citizens through open lists, vetting in politics, limiting the mandates and vote of immigrants. For this we must do everything we can by asking for a referendum.
