Democratic Party Parliamentary Group Chairman Gazment Bardhi on Tuesday 28 January accused the Socialist majority of "destabilizing the Constitutional Court".

"The independence of the Constitutional Court is essential to the guarantee of the rule of law. There has long been a tendency of the socialist majority to keep the Constitutional Court destabilised, by questioning the mandate of some of its members," Bardhi said.

According to the Democrat representative, "this game" has been going on for months.
