Interior Minister Taulant Balla has reacted after the arrest in Kosovo of the much-wanted Gëzim Çela, considered the "drug baron" of Fushë-Kuqe.
Balla says that the operation to locate and capture him was carried out in cooperation with an important partner agency and the Kosovo police.
"The force of the law will strike on anyone and impunity will end on anyone who remembers that they will continue to hide from justice. I congratulate the State Police, which, in cooperation with an important partner agency and the law enforcement structures of the Republic of Kosovo, have made it possible to arrest the citizen Gëzim Çela, a person convicted and wanted for a long time by justice in Albania", writes forehead
Gëzim Çela, Arben Dalipaj and Roland Guxa were declared wanted some time ago, as part of the "Flame at Sea" operation, accused of exchanging large quantities of cocaine with cannabis through sailboats on the beach of Shengjin.
At that time, Dritan Metaj, head of Laç Police Station, was arrested, accused of being part of this structured criminal group.
