Secretary General of the Democratic Party and Co-Chairman of the Electoral Reform Commission in the Assembly, Enkelejd Alibeaj, in response to the claims of the "Reestablishment" Commission, states that the Electoral Reform Commission is not the place where a political "show" takes place.
In a post on Facebook, he adds that all opposition streams are well represented in that commission and that the rules cannot change every time a deputy changes his position.
"The Electoral Reform Commission is not the place where a political show is made, even to go towards the path of hope. Oppositionism is not a certificate that someone can distribute.
The rules of the game are the ones set since the reform process started. There, every party and opposition flow is well represented, at the request of PDSH itself. Everyone has the right and obligation to participate, sit, work and make opposition proposals together.
As DP has done so far, to protect the interests of Albanian citizens and fair elections: with open lists, Albania 1 constituency, vote for the diaspora and electronic voting & counting. The rules do not change every time a member of parliament changes his position. PD is determined for electoral reform for Albanians", writes Alibeaj.
