The former President of the Republic, Alfred Moisiu, was invited this Wednesday morning to the show "Breaking" on Top News.

He spoke about the political situation in the country, where according to him, the Democratic Party has an internal problem, which he wants to broadcast to the whole country. Moisiu stated that this situation was created by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, as there was criticism regarding the "revolution" mentioned by the democratic leader.

The former head of state stated that the problem lies with the Electoral Commissions, which according to him should be depoliticized.

"Why was this situation created? Because we have had opposition and position all along. DP has a big problem within itself. Berisha created the famous pulpit and managed to create this situation. This is their problem and they are trying to broadcast it to the whole country, but they will not succeed. The word revolution is being used. But, revolution is used to change the system. We have a western democracy, but in which European country have we heard that power is changed by revolution, it is changed only by vote. Because it is not a majority. If victory is not achieved by vote, you are not in the majority. This is a minority that must be imposed on the majority.

This is completely wrong. Yes, I understand, a political force wants to take power, but it should only take it by vote. Until we get a man with two eyes, we will have Rama there. We must change the Electoral Commissions. We have partisan Electoral Commissions, they put their people there to protect their votes. They do not want the Electoral Commissions to be depoliticized.

We are the only country in the Balkans that has politicians who have been in politics for 30 years. Everything has a limit, give your contribution and leave. They cannot do it like the cow that fills the bucket and kicks it and spills it. Even the young people speak the same language as the old leaders, even wilder. Everyone has contributed to these achievements, why should they be violated. If we want to defend the mistakes of the past, they cannot be defended.

In relations with America, we are a more pro-American people, and we know this, but the Americans and the whole world also know it. The causes for this situation are all, but Berisha has a special responsibility. I love and respect him, but I want to tell him these words. Revolution is revolution, it means violence. It did the violence in '97 and set us back 20 years." Alfred Moisiu declared
