Prime Minister Albin Kurti has been summoned to The Hague. The news was published on the Facebook page of the Kosovo government spokesman, Përparim Kryeziu.
"While Prime Minister Kurti is in a meeting of the Presidency of the VETËVENDOSJE! Movement to finalize the list of candidates for MPs from the LVV, Guxo and Alternativa coalition in the 2025 elections, the Prime Minister's Office informed me that an invitation has arrived for him from the Special Prosecution Office."
According to Kryeziu, the goal is to influence the outcome of the 2025 elections, just like in 2021 a judicial decision on the impossibility of competing in the February 14, 2021 elections.
"In the past elections, there was a court decision that prevented him from running in the February 14, 2021 election, and now through this invitation, an attempt is being made to influence the outcome of the 2025 elections. The goal remains the same. The method has changed. This is interference by the justice system in the electoral process."
