Prime Minister Edi Rama says that Albania has the best public procurement system in the region.

Rama said, during an event with foreign ambassadors and government officials, that the Albanian public procurement system is the most efficient and transparent.

According to him, this is proven by the European Union report, and he suggested that European Union countries copy this tender system that Albania has.

"Today, Albania is in first place in the region for public procurement, from the point of view of efficiency, transparency. This is what the EU says, and to reach this conclusion, it uses an instrument of experts who analyze countries. It is the same instrument that has been there before and has not said these things before. The EU considers our public procurement system as a European system," Rama said.
