Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha will travel to Brussels on Thursday, a day before the announced protest to oppose the results of the May 11 elections.
It is learned that the trip will be during the day, as he will be leading the protest on Friday at 5:00 PM.
The DP chairman will officially attend the summit of the IDU - the International Democratic Union - an organization of right-wing and center-right parties from around the world, but his full agenda has not yet been made public.
The protest has been called on the same day that the European Political Community Summit will take place in Tirana, and the leaders of all EU states, the United Kingdom, and candidate countries will be in Skanderbeg Square where the summit will take place.
Meanwhile, through a post on social networks, Sali Berisha announced that the DP protest will be held on May 16 at 5:00 PM on Zogu I Boulevard.
"They are hijacking the elections to rob Albania!" is the slogan of this protest, which comes just 6 days after the elections.
