Minister Blendi Gonxhja leads in the preferential vote in Tirana, with over 10,000 votes, but with this success, there has been no shortage of accusations from the opposition.

However, Gonxhe says that this successful result comes after hundreds of meetings he has held with the electorate, mainly in Vora, where for several years his work as Director of Road Transport has also connected him.

In the interview with "Top News", Gonxha said that he feels regret when he sees that the opposition "criminalizes the people" who chose to vote for him.

"This result is not accidental. I regret the insinuations of the opposition that, as usual, does not measure its talk and does not keep its mouth shut. Criminalizing an entire population just because they voted for Blendi Gonxha. I have met with hundreds of residents, all of my meetings have published photos, people are face to face, I have not met any contingents. But also because of work. And to see yourself in the news that "Gonzha took Vora because he or they gave it to him", is unfortunate", he said.

Gonxha also highlighted several reasons why, according to him, the opposition received a disappointing result in these parliamentary elections.

"You may be right, but if you reduce your position, then the votes fall. We would be the best government with a good opposition. And maybe we would not be in government one day with a good opposition, and it is quite normal, the rotation in a democracy. Today, our knees are shaking from the magnitude of this victory. The country needs a broad political spectrum, but until we have it on the other side, we will try to invent ourselves. And yet, we do not get supercharged, we do not delirious, it is a very big responsibility," he said.
