The head of the Special Prosecutor's Office , Altin Dumani,  has stated that it will be the prosecutors of the Sali Berisha case who will decide whether the arrest of the former prime minister will be required if the Parliament decides to lift his immunity as a deputy.

Asked what measure SPAK will impose on the former prime minister, Dumani answered that:  " Measure for Berisha in the prosecution's evaluation of the case ", adding that he will only sign the letter.

The Assembly will vote in the parliamentary session on Thursday (December 21) on SPAK's request for the removal of Berisha's immunity, which paves the way for his arrest.

Meanwhile, the opposition has organized protests in front of the Parliament that will start around 09:00.

The opposition has warned of a battle on two fronts on Thursday, as the Assembly is expected to approve the request of SPAK, which paves the way for the authorization of house arrest or prison for Sali Berisha.

The protest will take place on December 21 at 09:00 in front of the Parliament of Albania.

"The opposition of denied rights in action" is the logo of the protest called by Berisha.

Two days ago, the Council of Mandates approved with 6 votes in favor the request of SPAK, which paves the way for the arrest of Berisha. Democratic deputy Enkelejd Alibeaj also joined the votes of the SP.

In the meantime, Klotilda Bushka was appointed rapporteur to draft the report that will be submitted to the plenary session.

After yesterday's meeting of the parliamentary group, Sali Berisha and Gazment Bardhi, although they did not give details on the strategy they will follow in the two civil disobediences inside and outside the parliament hall, spoke of a battle without opposition opposition.

As he called on SPAK to undertake acts only with the force of law, on Thursday although there will be civil disobedience inside the parliament hall, Bardhi and the deputies of the parliamentary group will not participate in the vote.
