The transportation of emigrant ballots alone will cost 10 million euros.
The distribution of 245,808 envelopes will be carried out in 85 countries around the world, by the foreign multinational company DHL, founded in the USA.
The cost of a ballot is an average of 40 euros.
The number of Albanian immigrants who have gained the right to vote is led by Greece and Italy, followed by other countries.
Ballots are expected to be sent to the diaspora on April 10, and their arrival must be by 7:00 PM on May 11.
The ballot will go to immigrants sealed in an envelope, which contains a barcode with information about the voter, the state where they reside, and the district for which they are voting.
The envelope must be opened carefully, without damaging the ballot inside.
The voter will have to make a mark within a column, fold the ballot and place it inside the envelope. There should be no markings on the envelope, or even on the ballot.
The diaspora voter will not incur any financial costs for this process.
Inside the ballot paper will also be a guide so that immigrants can exercise their right to vote correctly and avoid their invalidity as much as possible.
