Tirana Police have issued a public announcement following the distribution of several intimate videos of several well-known characters.

The announcement states that investigations have been launched into the pages that published these videos, as well as their removal from the platforms where they were published.

Police Notification

The Tirana Local Police Directorate has launched investigations mainly after discovering the publication and distribution of film materials with intimate content on several online portals and platforms.

The Cybercrime Investigation Sector is conducting investigative actions aimed at identifying IP addresses and other data of pages and profiles that have published or distributed these materials, and is undertaking procedures to remove them from the platforms where they were published.

The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecution for the criminal offenses of "Illegal interception of computer data", "Interference with computer data", "Unfair interference with private life" and "Misuse of equipment".
