On a late October evening, the sound of a telephone rings in a house in the center of Tirana. Belinda Balluku, as always determined and with her commanding voice, eagerly awaits the answer:

"Belo, quickly! Get down, come here! We have urgent business."

Within a few minutes, Belind Kelliçi, the oppositionist who always has a "plan" ready, appears in a hurry. With a humble smile and a word " Command, my mighty witch!" , Belo enters the scene. In the living room, Belinda awaits him with a large file in her hand and a look that describes only one thing: "I have a mission for you!"

A Gonxhe in Dibër, a hassle to cover up

"Look, Belo, it's like this," Belinda begins, throwing the file on the table. "Gonxhe is moving from Dibra. And me? I can't let this look like a conflict between us!”

"But why, what happened to Gonxha? Belo asks with feigned interest.

Belinda raises her voice:

"Dibra is mine! All Dibra knows this. I've raised everything there, from roads to gardens! And now this Gonxhe, just because he has done some maneuvers, thinks he can challenge me? I don't owe him to get me into a fight with all of Dibra!"

Belo shakes her head theatrically.

"Ah, of course. What shall we do?"

Belinda replies with a sly smile:

“Simple, Belo. We will invent a scenario. You will pretend that Gonxhe is coming to Tirana to replace Veliaj. You mean that Gonxhe has been assigned to the Tirana campaign that Veliaj, finally, is going to prison!"

Genius plan

Belo pauses for a second and her eyes light up. "Brilliant! Brilliant, my Bela! You are a genius! But why not add one more detail? Let's pretend that Gonxhe was sent by Edi to save the SP in Tirana, because Veliaj has allegedly failed! This will completely distract from Dibra and you!”

Belinda claps enthusiastically.

"Oh God, how many beautiful ideas you have, Belo! You're a sack of diamonds!”

Media stage

After an hour of discussions and the approval of every detail, Belo is charged with the mission: "Camouflage the Diber-Tirana conflict." He pulls out his phone and starts organizing the media attack. Titles are ready:

• "Blendi Gonxhe, leader of the socialist campaign in Tirana, awaiting the arrest of Veliaj!"

• "Dibra wins Balluk, Tirana loses Veliaj!"

Happy ending (for Belinda, at least)

After a few days, the news spread by Belo starts to explode in the media. Meanwhile, Dibra is calm, Balluku remains queen in her territory, and Gonxhe is "sold" as the savior of Tirana.

Looking at the phone screen and the headlines flying by, Belinda laughs out loud. She sends Belo a short message:

"Well done, Belo! You will make a perfect minister in my next government!”

While Belo, reading the message, collides with a pole on the road, but only laughs:

"Always at your service, my Bela!"
