US President Donald Trump has warned that the United States could leave Europe if the continent fails to cope with immigration.

"If they don't find the right path soon, we will have no choice but to leave," Trump declared during a rally in Kansas, where he also commented on the protests in France.

He criticized the immigration policies of left-wing politicians, accusing them of allowing the entry of millions of immigrants from developing countries.

"Left-wing politicians have imported millions and millions of immigrants from the Third World. We will not allow this to happen to our country," the US president said.

Trump said he will never forget Europe's behavior when the US asked for help for Iran.

"When we asked for help in Iran, they didn't give us a hand, and we spent so much on NATO. That's something we can never forget," Trump insisted.

During the rally in Kansas, Trump announced an $8 billion aid program for American farmers, aimed at temporarily offsetting high oil costs for agricultural machinery during the harvest season.

According to US media, the program will be implemented by the Department of Agriculture. The announcement comes as part of a series of financial commitments by the president ahead of the midterm elections, which will determine control of the US Congress.
