Renowned actor and director, Gjergj Mena, has passed away at the age of 41. The news has saddened his family, friends and colleagues, who have expressed their condolences on social media.

Actress Algiona Aga has posted on her Instagram profile where she appears with Gjergji and writes some touching words.

“Where can I find the words for you, my George… my friend… my friend… my brother… my man… my family… my shoulder.

"I am forever grateful to have had you in my life. I will pray to God that our souls will meet again, my George... I love you beyond life," the actress wrote on Instagram.
