The cause of the death of the fan at the Taylor Swift concert is revealed!
Ana Clara Benevides Machado/ Taylor Swift

Heat exhaustion was the cause of death of the Brazilian fan at the Taylor Swift concert , according to the forensic report.

Ana Clara Benevides Machado died during Taylor's concert in Rio de Janeiro on November 17 from the hot weather where the thermometer reached 40.5 degrees Celsius. She died in the hospital.

The Institute of Forensic Medicine of Rio states that exposure to heat led to a "serious complication of her lungs and sudden death" or a cardio-respiratory arrest.

A criminal investigation has now been opened into her death and representatives of the concert will be called to testify.

Immediately after the tragic incident that unfolded at the Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos, fans demanded that the organizers supply more water to the following concerts.

The tragedy was strong even for the singer herself, who wrote a very emotional letter expressing her pain over the incident.
