A serious event happened during the Notting Hill Carnival where the well-known British rapper TKorStretch, whose real name is Takayo Nembhard, died as a result.
The 21-year-old was attacked with a knife but could not escape his injuries. He died in a west London hospital.
His manager Chris Patrick said TK, as he was known, had spent a lot of time in London but lived with his parents in Bristol and that his family had been devastated by the tragic death. Nembhard had been a footballer and was part of the Bristol Rovers Academy until the age of 16.
"He was a good and respectable man, he spent a lot of time in London but lived with his parents in Bristol. He had previously been a semi-professional footballer until he was injured. He was talented in many fields, so after football, he also took up music.
I was his manager for over two years. "He worked extremely hard and tried to do what was right for himself and his soon-to-be-born child. His family is devastated," Chris Patrick, the rapper's manager, said after the incident.
