A young man experienced the most awkward moments of his life in Rome, where he got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend. 

The couple was dancing under the Christmas lights, while at one point the boy drops to his knees, holding a ring to the sounds of O Sole Mio by a tenor. In front of dozens of people, the young man asked his girlfriend to marry him, while she replied: I didn't expect it, I'm not ready. Is this why we came to Rome?

As can be seen in the video, the girl looked uncomfortable and repeatedly asked her boyfriend to stop, while the tenor continued to sing.

The girl answers "no", while the young man gets up hurt.
