Frances Bean Cobain and her husband, professional skateboarder Riley Hawk, have welcomed their first child together.

Frances, the daughter of rock singer Courtney Love and late Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain, announced online Saturday that she and Hawk, son of famed skateboarder Tony Hawk, had welcomed a son named Ronin Walker Cobain Hawk.

The 32-year-old new mother revealed the baby had been born on September 17, writing online: "Welcome the most beautiful son in the world. We love you more than anything."

In the series of black and white photos shared online by Frances, the newborn is seen holding his mother's hand, while another shows Hawk hugging his son. Another photo shows the baby wrapped in a blanket with eyes closed.

Frances first revealed her romance with Hawk in 2022, when she returned to Instagram after a year-long pause to share photos of him sitting next to a Christmas tree and smiling while holding a small dog.

At the time, fans of Tony and Kurt lauded the relationship, with one writing: "If they had a baby, their grandparents would be two of the greatest icons of the 1990s."
