The Webb Space Telescope, the largest and most powerful in the world, brings for the first time incredible views of Jupiter, the largest planet in the solar system.
The pictures of Jupiter were taken by the telescope in July. The images show the storms, auroras and rings surrounding Jupiter. Astronomers have described these views as incredible.
"We've never seen Jupiter like this. It's incredible," said astronomer Imke de Pater.
NASA explained that the auroras seen in the image of Jupiter are light shows caused by the Sun. And the red spot is a storm so big that it covers the whole Earth. This storm appeared white because it reflected a lot of sunlight.
Infrared pictures of Jupiter are artificially colored to make these features visible, because infrared rays are invisible to the human eye.
