Albanian dance talents raise the red and black flag in Vienna

On March 1 and 2, 2025, Vienna became the scene of an international dance competition ("Vienna Dance Open"), where talent, passion and art were displayed in their highest form. At this prestigious event, among dozens of other countries, such as Germany, Italy, Austria, Croatia, Poland, etc., Albania was proudly represented by the groups of "Rexhina Dance Academy", which achieved extraordinary successes, raising the Albanian flag high in the heart of Europe.

Our dancers competed with dignity in the international arena, demonstrating high professionalism and dedication in every performance.

One of the most impressive moments was the dances of the youngest, aged 5-8. Despite their young age, these little dancers displayed an extraordinary level of professionalism. With their lively smiles, they brought a special freshness to the stage and a unique dimension to the competition.

Teacher Rexhina Çuko, with her admirable ability to combine different types of genres, easily managed to break the "barrier" of a strict jury that watched every move in detail.

From Latin dance rhythms, such as cha-cha, waltz, jive and passo, to Albanian folk dances performed with finesse and feeling, Albanian dancers provided unparalleled spectacle and emotions for the audience and the jury.

The dedication and passion for dance were rewarded with well-deserved awards, making the children and the academy proud.

In addition to several first, second and third place awards in the categories they represented, one of the groups qualified for the final five of the grand prize, "Gold Stars".

The achievements of these children and young people in Vienna are a source of inspiration and a powerful message that art and passion know no boundaries, proving once again that Albanian talent is ready to conquer the world.
