Her absence came without warning, without official announcement, and without any communication with the public, which was immediately perceived as an unprofessional and irresponsible act.

Only after the scandal broke on social media, Miss Albania, Flavia Harizaj, published two messages on Instagram where she attempted to justify her absence with emotional and personal reasons.

She emphasized that she was not feeling well and that the title was "just a small fragment of her life."

But her delayed statements created more doubt than clarity, being widely interpreted as evasion of responsibility and a lack of respect for the role she held.

Meanwhile, on the same evening, Miss Universe Kosovo appeared on stage with complete professionalism, becoming the only Albanian to represent the Albanian public. She performed, stood and single-handedly maintained the Albanian image on a night where Albania was simply non-existent.

For many viewers, Miss Kosovo carried the weight of the two countries, while Miss Albania disappeared.

Public reactions were clear, deep disappointment for Albania and respect for Kosovo.

Miss Kosovo was the only one who maintained the Albanian presence at Miss Universe, and this fact did not go unnoticed.
