Afrona starts the interview with a direct question to her ex-husband, which catches Blero somewhat by surprise.

Afrona Dika: Why did it come to where we are today, Blerim?

Blero: Because I think from some of my personal decisions that were not prudent, they were not right at that time. I believe they were wrong, however we are human and everyone makes mistakes. I can say that the reason it didn't work for us or we got where we got is a very big part of me and my mistake, I want to admit it publicly and I want to apologize to you publicly Afrono, honestly and... at that time it was my idea to stay in Kosovo, you know and I had to come with you to Switzerland, but I haven't seen it as I see it today, I thought it like that and... you were always right when you told me I should so, so and of course my stubbornness has been the main reason in the dysfunction of our marriage, but then one sees one's mistakes later.

Afrona Dika: True, like mine.

Blero: As I have told you privately, the very main part of the dysfunction of our marriage is me and...

Afrona Dika: Distance.

Shop: Ideas. You came to Kosovo for a while, you tried, you didn't succeed, you didn't get used to it. I should have come to Switzerland too, I didn't, it's my mistake, I accept publicly and sincerely apologize a lot, but it happened and this was fate.

Even Afrona says that she has her mistakes after cutting off communication between them. The separation also happened at a distance, but it was not easy for him to accept what had happened either.

Afrona Dika: I know that I was very wrong that we did not sit down and clarify things as we should have clarified them after 7 years. It was also my fault that I already disappeared from your life, because I was, I had a pain inside, I had a suffering, I had a despair inside, I don't know how to explain it, just... a... I don't know... it took me a long time to accept that it is... this relationship is over, this marriage is over because we were together at a distance and we were separated at a distance and it wasn't easy. I wanted to have a conversation like we are having right now, without offending each other, without hurting each other, without blaming each other, just a healthy conversation.
