Instagram is rolling out another service update that lets users post longer videos to Stories.

The social network has confirmed to TechCrunch that users can post a video longer than 30 seconds without interruption in Stories.

The company began testing the change with select users late last year and has now rolled it out to all users worldwide.

Instagram users can publish videos up to 60 seconds long in Stories without the video being interrupted in some posts.

"We're always working on ways to improve the Stories experience. Now, you'll be able to play and create Stories continuously for up to 60 seconds, instead of automatically cutting into 15-second clips" , said a spokesman for "Meta".

The new change is a welcome update for the app, likely for users and viewers alike. But it can also be liked by people who like the simplicity of short videos.
