Rihanna gives birth to third child, reveals baby girl's special name

Congratulations to Rihanna and A$AP Rocky.

The famous couple has welcomed their third child, as confirmed in an Instagram post earlier today. Named Rocki Irish Mayers, their daughter was born on September 13, 2025, and continues the tradition of every family member receiving a last name that begins with “R.” (The couple are also parents to two sons, RZA, three, and Riot, two.)

In May, the Fenty founder confirmed her pregnancy at the 2025 Met Gala, in honor of the Superfine: Tailoring Black Style exhibition. She showed off her baby bump in a cropped black jacket, a bustier bodysuit, and a black wool skirt with a single-button placket, all by Marc Jacobs.

Since then, she's enjoyed a fashionable pregnancy that included wearing a see-through blue Chanel doll-like ensemble to the Belgian premiere of The Smurfs, as well as a chocolate-colored Saint Laurent Fall 2025 gown to the Los Angeles premiere. For the latter premiere, her two sons wore custom Dior by Jonathan Anderson.

As for A$AP, he was also excited about this chapter of fatherhood.

"It's so inexplicable," the "Everyday" rapper described it to Zane Lowe on Apple Music Radio 1 in January 2023.
