At the end of the year, in December, "Portokallia" celebrates its 20th anniversary, but it has not escaped the news that even this comedy program will not restart the new season, it has reached the end of its journey.
In fact, nothing has been confirmed, on the contrary. Salsano Rrapi, moderator and actor of "Orange", heard this news for the first time. Invited to "Vacation on Top", Salsano did not escape the question about "Orange". He expressed surprise when he heard the news that "Portokallia" could be closed, but said with conviction that such news has never even been discussed.
"First of all, I don't know this. As far as I know, the portals have not been talking for many years; the program was closed, this one is gone, this one will come... but it has not even been discussed at all (that "Portokallia" will be closed). Of course, television has its own policies, but "Portokallia" was never in the television's plans to close."
Salsano further added that the program, like every new season, can have changes, but not in composition: "A program can take other forms, the composition does not change, but the scenes, moderators change, new actors come, etc. "
To the question if the comedy program plans to expand the cast in the new season, since "there are unemployed people around", Salsano answered: "Actors always have room to work. If one program is closed, another will be opened, another format will be made, as has usually happened, but "Portokallia" has nothing to do with the others".
