This time, in an interview for "News 24", he told about the reasons that led him to transform his lifestyle and abuse alcohol. He turned the corner with the help of his partner, Sara, and confessed that without her he would be nowhere.

He says:

"If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be here, I'd be in a cafe, with a long list of brandy debts. Sara has brought out my good side."

Castro also always mentions his children as the "spiritual revolution of life" and that the arrival of Dante, his little son, has made him reflect on the unhealthy habits that were destroying his life.

Even in previous interviews, he has spoken about alcohol abuse, saying:

Needless to say, I had a pretty big internal revolution and when a person has a self-awareness with himself, of course, even in relation to others, he is many times better. This revolution did not come in vain, but as a result of a reflection I had and some decisions I had, one of them was quitting alcohol that had confused me for a long time, had taken a very good part of myself hostage and destroyed me and it was destroying my relationships with the people I loved day by day. Of course, I have the impression that it is good for a person to return to the past to reflect. I'm leaving behind the regrets I have. At the end of the day, our whole life is a small hard drive of memories, and the good is that the good remain."

In the interview in "News 24", he also focused on the relationship with his parents, telling more about the spiritual connection with his late mother, explaining that her death affected his alcohol abuse. He also shared with the viewers about his relationship with his father, stating that he has always found support in him and has never left him in the mud.

"It has been there in every difficult moment of my life. He was a friend", said Castro.
