It's been 55 years since Apollo 8 astronaut Bill Anders took an iconic photo that would change people's perception of our world forever.
Known as the "rise of Earth," the image captured the blue of the planet as it "floated" in the eternal darkness of space.
Now, South Korea's first lunar orbiter has brought back the "Earth rise", but this time the photos are in black and white and show the Earth and the Moon.
Danuri, a portmanteau of the Korean words for "moon" and "enjoy," was launched on a SpaceX rocket from the US in August 2022 and entered lunar orbit last month.
Since December, the lunar orbiter has been sending back impressive photos of our planet and the lunar surface, including these ones posted on the website of the Korea Aerospace Research Institute.
The pictures include a series of lunar landscapes and a picture of Earth rising above the moon's horizon.
