A teenage mother has revealed she had no idea she was pregnant until she gave birth on her living room floor after returning from school.

The girl, who was 19, explained that she had no symptoms of pregnancy and continued to have regular periods, but was shocked when her mother saw the baby's head under the skirt of her school uniform.

The mother, known as Alexis on TikTok, shared her story online in a video that has received over 2.3 million views and explained that she experienced a secret pregnancy when she was 15.

A hidden pregnancy is when medical testing methods fail to detect it and common symptoms such as vomiting, periods and a big belly don't occur, writes The Sun.

On the day of the birth, Alexis discovered that she had been in pain all night and a few hours later she gave birth to the baby.

In another video, Alexis explained that she was born on the living room floor.

"I ended up having my baby on the living room floor without knowing I was pregnant," Alexis said.

"I had regular periods and no symptoms, my belly didn't grow. Found out I had a secret pregnancy.”

People's reactions to her video were numerous. Some did not believe it, while others confirmed that the same thing had happened to their relatives.
