Having a pet, a snake. It may seem impossible but not for Anisa. She is a police officer in the city of Elbasan. If you think guns are her hobby and passion, you are wrong. The snake is the police's best friend.

"I have this as anti-stress, I enjoy it", says Deputy Commissioner Anisa Kostani.

Their cohabitation has started for 3 months. Her little one, as she calls it, lacks nothing. The deputy commissioner is extremely careful about him.

"It is not healthy for them to stay out of their vivarium for more than half an hour, they may show any disease and here I have nowhere to take it when they are sick, so I am very careful in this part, because I know that I will "I have to take him abroad then," she told Euronews.

Anisa points out that the snake came from Colombia. Now that it is small, its length is 1 meter and 20, so the skin change happens more often. He is Boa male, can live up to 25 years and his length goes up to 2 and a half meters.

"It feeds on frozen mice once a week, a few days ago the skin changed, this process lasts from 1 to 2 weeks. His skin starts to fade, his eyesight fades and then within 72 hours he may have completed the process. "Meanwhile, it should not be touched, it should not be taken out of the vivarium and it should not be fed", she says.

Caring for a snake also requires good knowledge to understand when it is stressed. The 27-year-old shows that if Prada takes the shape of the letter S, then it is time to place it in its environment.

However the snake is not the only animal she has in the house.

"I have 3 cats and 1 dog, cats have their own room, cats always try to stay by the vivarium glass. "They are curious and can tease him," she said.

The deputy commissioner says that in the future she will receive another snake of this type, where a page of the wall of her house will be dedicated only to them.
