A street in Philadelphia, USA, is now named after our national hero, Gjergj Kastrioti Skenderbeu.

The news was announced by the Minister of State for Parliamentary Relations, Taulant Balla.

"A moment of pride for Albanians in Philadelphia with the placement of the name of our national hero Gjergj Kastrioti Skënderbeu on one of the streets of this city. Kudos to the "Sons of Albania" association for their perseverance and everything they do every day for Albania and Albanians", writes Balla in a post on social networks.

This is the third street in the USA named after Skanderbeg.
