"Porto Palermo Festival" continued on the evening of July 31 with the performance of Arbëresh artist Pierpaolo Petta, from Palermo, who brought to the stage a musical journey between Arbëresh tradition and Albanian culture.
In the unique atmosphere of Ali Pasha's Castle, the audience experienced a concert where history, memory, and music merged into an artistic narrative that gave voice to the common roots of the two shores of the Adriatic.
During the concert, Petta also shared with the audience a significant observation on the similarity of the Arbëresh language with the dialect of Himara, proving that, even after centuries, cultural and linguistic heritage continues to remain a living bridge between Albania and the Arbëresh communities in Italy.
Porto Palermo Festival continues until August 16 with a program that brings together artists and different musical genres in one of the most unique scenes in the Mediterranean.
This weekend, the public will welcome the artist Shama Milan, who will bring the rhythms and energy of Latin music, while on August 2, the stage will belong to violinist Olen Cesari, with an evening where classical music blends with contemporary sounds and improvisation, promising a unique artistic experience in the Porto Palermo castle.
