The 400-meter high cube-shaped tower, known as Mukaab, which is expected to be the tallest building in the world, has officially started construction in Saudi Arabia.
The New Murabba Development Company, financed by Saudi Arabia, announced that the buildings are expected to be completed in 2030, for the construction of which around 900 workers are currently working.

The giant building will be the centerpiece of the huge New Murabba development, which covers an area of 18 square kilometers northwest of Riyadh.

Once completed, the cube will have a large atrium and spiral tower in the center, plenty of space for shops, cultural and tourist attractions.
Images of the project show an impressive building. The cube-shaped structure will be able to display realistic images that wrap around the building from all sides.

The sprawling New Murabba development will include over 100,000 homes, 980,000 square meters of shops, 1.4 million square meters of office space, as well as hotels, cultural venues, a university, a theater and a museum.

This mega-project is part of Saudi Arabia's vision 2030, which aims to reduce dependence on oil and diversify the economy by developing public service sectors. However, a new investigation has revealed that thousands of workers die every year to fulfill the ambitions of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
