For two weeks, the National Inspectorate of Territory Protection has been conducting an action to demolish 30 illegal businesses on the coast of Vlora.
This action is focused on the expansion of the "Lungomare 3" project (extension of the city promenade) and includes various businesses, mainly bars, beach bars and restaurants, which have structures built of wood or concrete.
Work on the realization of this project started two weeks ago, and businesses have received a deadline until November 15 to vacate their facilities. This process has not met with opposition, most of the businesses, which have already started to empty the subjects.
Meanwhile, the Inspectorate has warned that demolition procedures will continue and fines will be applied for breaking the law for those businesses that obstruct the progress of work and refuse to vacate the facilities by the set deadline.
