The most expensive cruise in the world, 47,000 euros a night

47 thousand euros for one night on a luxury yacht which offers suites the size of a villa. In fact, Four Seasons Yachts will have suites with floor-to-ceiling windows and outdoor terraces as well as outdoor pools.

When Four Seasons Yachts debuts its first 95-suite ship in January 2026, it will be the most expensive cruise ever. Seven nights in the Caribbean will cost as little as $20,000 per suite, with up to $330,000 for the nearly 930-square-foot suite facing the ship's towering chimney, according to Bloomberg.

What one buys with this money is space. With a displacement of 34,000 tons and a length of 220 meters and a value of 400 million euros, Four Seasons 1 is the same size as cruise ships that carry 700 passengers, although she carries a maximum of 222. What is not included in the price of $47,000 for the night it's free champagne, or even lunch and dinner. That's exactly the point: Four Seasons Yachts is not aimed at casual travelers, but at Four Seasons Hotels company customers and brand loyalists who are used to paying easily. All suites will have floor-to-ceiling windows and outdoor terraces, the smallest of which will be over 50 square meters. The master suites are villa-sized, with outdoor pools.

The yacht is priced in line with the best luxury hotel suites around the world. His guests are used to paying $40,000 a night for a presidential suite when visiting major cities around the world. But such prices are unheard of for a cruise. Four Seasons 1 may only have 95 suites, but it will offer 11 dining and lounge areas. The room price includes only breakfast. Everything else is paid. In addition to breakfast, there will be coffee and soft drinks.

The ship will have as many crew members as guests, a ratio not uncommon in luxury hotels but unique to a cruise. In the 10 announced itineraries – winter in the Caribbean, followed by spring and summer in the Mediterranean – the Four Seasons appears to be following the private yacht crowd to smaller ports and destinations like St. Barts, Greek Islands and St.-Tropez.

In 2025, Four Seasons 1 is scheduled to visit approximately 130 ports in 30 countries. The booking process is non-transparent starting with invitations only for regular Four Seasons customers. Interested parties were asked to pay $10,000 per suite to sign up on a waiting list.
