The man, the myth, the legend: Chuck Norris may have become famous in movies in the 1970s, but in the early 2000s he gained even more popularity, managing to get the entire internet talking about him.
There was a time when there were countless memes and jokes about the actor's super strength and physical prowess, and even today his fans often refer to it on every occasion.
Norris, now 83, became known for action films that showcased his martial arts expertise. He is known for the films "Delta Force", "Missing in Action" and appeared alongside Bruce Lee in "The Way of the Dragon". From 1993 to 2001, he starred in the police procedural "Walker, Texas Ranger."
The now 83-year-old star stopped acting regularly in 2005 after the TV movie Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire and the movie The Cutter. He later briefly returned to the big screen in 2012, with a role in The Expendables 2. In 2015, he lent his voice to The Goldbergs, and in 2020, he had a guest role on Hawaii Five-0.

However, with 1.5 million followers on Instagram, Chuck Norris was as if he had never left. He may be out of the public eye, but he lives a quiet and healthy life as he has emphasized in interviews, alongside his beloved wife, Gina O'Kelly.
The reason why he retired
In 2017, Norris and his wife sued several pharmaceutical companies, claiming that Gina suffered physically and nearly died after a treatment.

"My whole life is to keep it as good as I can," Norris told CBS News during a joint interview with his wife. "You know, I had to give up my film career." During the same interview, the couple revealed that they had spent about two million dollars on treatments to deal with her health problems. Since then he has not left his girlfriend's arms for a moment.
