The famous singer of Albanian origin, Bebe Rexha, is celebrating with the best connoisseur of marijuana, Snoop Dogg, for their newest song "Satellite".
She released a video of herself smoking dope with the legendary rapper on Thursday. Artistically inspired by The Jetsons, the video opens with the 33-year-old and the 51-year-old.
"Last night I climbed higher than the satellite / Got a one-way ticket / It's a one-man mission to heaven," Bebe sings from the track.
According to the "I'm Good (Blue)" musician, marijuana actually played a big role in the creative process of the song and video.
"Working with Snoop is a dream", says Rexha for "People", explaining that he first sent the song "Satellite" to the rapper through "Instagram". "He called me at 7:00 a.m. the next morning saying, 'Yo, check your email. You have an email."
Rexha showed that she was very excited about it. When it came time to shoot the clip, Snoop appeared in a few seconds smoking marijuana with Bebe Rexha.
Snoop tells Rexha that she needs to try his weed, and she replies, “Now on the video set? I'm going to look drunk in the video." He said, 'Just try it,' and I said, 'Okay,'" she says.
But while most of her followers were excited, one of them was not.
"My father called me and said: "What are you doing? Why am I smoking on the Internet? Are you crazy?” she says. "I said, 'Dad, it's Snoop Dogg.' If I smoke with anybody, it has to be Snoop Dogg.”
"Satellite" will appear on Bebe's upcoming album, which will be released next week, and Snoop isn't the only icon featured on the project.
