An unusual event has occurred in Turkey , where a couple has been arrested after being caught red-handed having sex inside the premises of a historic mosque.

The incident was discovered by a mosque employee, who had arrived early in the morning for prayer.

After hearing suspicious noises from inside the building, he initially thought it was a burglary.

However, after checking the security cameras, he was confronted with a completely different scene: a man and a woman were having sex inside the cult site.

The employee immediately notified police authorities, who launched a rapid investigation. Through security camera footage, police were able to identify and arrest the two suspects.

According to local media, the couple attempted to justify themselves to investigators by saying that they had done this act "for adrenaline, fantasy and as a different experience."

After appearing before the court, the two arrested were released with restrictive measures (compulsory appearance), pending the full completion of the investigations and trial of the case.
