A British TV presenter has won the argument with her neighbor about the permission of a glass " sun room " that she has built in the backyard.
58-year-old Celia Sawyer celebrated the right she won from the municipality by vowing: "They won't stop me from sunbathing in a bikini."
The manager of a home furnishing program said neighbor Neil Kennedy was just jealous of the sunroom he had built at the back of the garden and "wanted revenge".
Celia, otherwise known as 'Mrs Bling', said she first fell out with neighbor Kennedy when he 'illegally' built a balcony overlooking her garden, and she was therefore uncomfortable going out in a bathing suit.
After the woman complained about the neighbor's balcony, the argument between the two neighbors continued and Kennedy complained to the municipality about the sunroom she had built without permission in the garden.
After winning the right to keep the glass structure, Celia told MailOnline: “ I've worked hard to have a house like this, and it's not going to stop me sunbathing. I am happy that the municipality did the right thing ".
Celia and husband Nick bought the house overlooking Poole Harbor in the south of England for £4m in 2007 where they have raised their children Jack, 22, and Lili, 25.
They hadn't complained when their accountant neighbor Kennedy knocked down his £2m house to build a new three-storey modern one.
But then they realized he wasn't sticking to the original plans and expanded the building with the problematic balcony.
"We no longer have privacy," said Celia at the time.
" He says it is for maintenance, but if you stay there you can see from our garden, this should not be allowed ".
Celia and her husband are also angry about an air pump that Kennedy installed on the roof without permission, and two additional side windows, one of which overlooks the neighbors' bedroom.
Kennedy made the required changes, but the debate between the neighbors continued until the construction of the "sunroom" by Celia, which was approved by the state in January.
The presenter declares: "I built it because it didn't need a permit, it's not a place to sleep or live, it's for sunbathing or relaxing. We have a small bar there and lights. Sometimes I wait there for friends or clients, it is very close to the water."
"I sunbathe in a bikini there and use it as much as I can. Sometimes when I stay I drink a lot and a glass of wine", said the woman/ Daily Mail .
