Elon Musk speaks with superlatives about Giorgia Meloni: A beautiful man...
Giorgia Meloni and Elon Musk

"It is an honor to be here to present this award to a man who is even more beautiful on the inside than on the outside. She has done a wonderful job as prime minister, with record growth and employment. He is a fair, true, authentic man, rare qualities for a politician".

Elon Musk chose sensitive words to introduce Giorgia Meloni and present her with the "Global Citizen Award 2024" of the Atlantic Council in New York.

The award was given to her "for her role as the first woman at the head of the government in Italy and her strong support for the European Union and the transatlantic alliance, as well as for her presidency of the G7 in 2024".

Then it was the turn of the Italian Prime Minister, who was sitting at the table next to Musk at the ceremony held in the Ziegfeld Ballroom. She thanked him for his words and for his "precious genius".

In his speech on the occasion, Meloni focused on the defense and preservation of Western values against autocracy and authoritarian regimes.
